Each year at our yearly National Conference we acknowledge the efforts and the achievements of our bookkeepers by presenting the Franchisee and Franchisor of the Year awards. These are Jim’s Bookkeeping national franchise awards.
There are some who go above and beyond by providing excellent bookkeeping services. They are equally engaged with their clients and in the running of their own small business as Jim’s Bookkeeping franchisees.
Each of the individuals listed below stands out with their dedication to their clients and their contributions to the bookkeeping profession.

FRANCHISEE OF THE YEAR
JIM’S BOOKKEEPING PORT MELBOURNE
We congratulate Jim as the Jim’s Bookkeeping Franchisee of the Year 2017. Jim is an old employee of his current Franchisor Shirley, who has come back to haunt her in the best way possible.
Jim started in February 2016. Shortly he joined BNI and had actively started walking his area, delivering pamphlets and talking to local business owners. Within 6 months he was having presentations sponsored by Bank of Melbourne. Within 9 months had employed his first contractor as he needed extra arms and legs to help him.
Jim took the Jim’s business in a box and turned it into reality through real graft and hard work. Now he is living a dream of a successful business owner.

JIM’S BOOKKEEPING NORTH QUEENSLAND
Being a Franchisor of Jim’s Bookkeeping is challenging. All our Franchisors are juggling more than one activity, and there are many demands of being a successful Franchisor as we look to Select and Support Franchisees.
For the Award this year we have focused on observing behaviors that people exhibit, activities that they engage in and their engagement in the Jim’s Bookkeeping Network.
Jean is a long standing member of the Jim’s Bookkeeping Family who has always provided great support to her Franchisees. This has created great relationships with Franchisees.
In the last year in particular Jean has exhibited the incredible value of being a passionate early adopter of initiatives and strategies. A great example has been Jim’s Tax and I can add to that Jim’s Bookkeeping Payroll.
Whilst she has ceased being a Franchisor and is concentrating on being a Jim’s Bookkeeping Franchisee, she is undeniable a well deserving winner of Franchisor of the Year 2017 award.
